International Association of Infant Massage

Certified Infant Massage Instructors (CIMI) are parent educators who have completed intensive training and practical work specifically designed by the International Association of Infant Massage founded by Vimala Schneider Mc Clure. They are committed to helping you learn interactive communication with your baby through positive loving touch. Classes are presented in a series of sessions. Classes usually meet four consecutive weeks. Some Private instruction may also be available. Please discuss this with your CIMI. Classes are designed for you with your baby from birth to pre-crawling. Participants massage their babies whilst being guided through a step-by-step massage routine, which uses a carefully balanced combination of Swedish, Indian and Reflexology techniques. Each participant receives individual attention to any special needs and guidance is provided on how massage can be adapted to the growing child.
