How Important is Baby Massage
Many parents place great importance in feeding the infants the correct foods for a healthy balance of vitamins, minerals and proteins. However massage is also food for your baby, equally important for your child's development.
Touch is the basic language and building block for a baby. Did you know that human embryos less than eight weeks old have highly developed skin sensitivity? The baby is less than an inch long, has no ears nor eyes yet they can feel the gentle rocking and floating in the amniotic fluid. Then the gentle caress of the womb becomes stronger, gradually becoming the contractions which rhythmically squeezes and pushes providing massive stimulation to the infants skin and growing organs.
Nature begins the baby's massage long before it has been born. It seems only natural, as a parent or career to continue.
